Day 17 -- Buenos Aires

Transfer day.  Was off the ship by 9 am.. Very efficient baggage claim at terminal.  Getting a taxi is unusual.  When you get to exit, there s a taxi wrangler.  Show where you are going and he assigns a taxi.  You pay him, not the driver.  He sets the fee.  Mine was $US 20 , probably 3 times the cost of a radio cab, but who needs the hassle?

Hotel is in the old own town area of Ricoleta.  I look out my window to see the famous cemetery.  

Down the street a little I found a Subway -- suited me fine, as I could just point without needing to negotiate Spanish.  Tonight I went to a nearby restaurant .. Had a steak .. So big I only managed half of it!  $A 22.  

Last night was hell .. I locked my medication in suitcase which was taken at 11 pm .. So had no access to a sleeper.  I reckon I heard every tick of the clock ti 6.30 am!  Still feeling only 50% .. I hope a good night's sleep improves that.
