Day 22 -- Iguazu to Rio

Another transfer day with a lot of sitting around to do.  Car collected me at 10.30 am and transferred me to the Brazilian airport.  The driver attended to both the Argentinian and Brazilian immigration for me, so that was painless.  The airport on the Brazil side was much larger than the one I had flown into, so was able to to relax at a bar while waiting for the flight.  1hr 40mins in an A320 Airbus - uneventful.  A driver was waiting in Rio for me; about a 30 minute drive to hotel.

The Hotel Copa Sul is located one street back from the seafront esplanade in Copacabana, at the southern end right near Ipanema.  Spacious room, well appointed.  Settled for meal in the hotel restaurant (soup and fish - pretty ordinary).  After dinner went for a walk over to the famous Copacabana esplanade:  bars scattered all along the seafront.  Anyway, not much impressed.  Give me Broadbeach any day!

Camera had the day off again.
